Noble System Platform Project Grows The Noble Energy System Platform project in Platteville Colorado continues to grow, setting new records for size. To date this system now supports over 6000 field automation devices and is 1,500,000 tags in size. The Wonderware System Platform design was selected in order to be able to support the continued growth of the Wattenberg field. In conjunction to System Platform, ICE is being used as the Communications Server since it has the necessary protocol support to handle all of the devices and features needed to see this project to completion. The design of the Wattenberg system has been engineered to provide standardization in the process of adding new facilities. This enables Noble to quickly add new facilities to the System Platform without downtime, and to assure that each newly added location is accurate. The Wattenberg system provides automation for the Wattenberg and Piceance fields in Colorado, and Lysite field in Wyoming. In addition to this IAI has been working on for Noble Energy in Yuma, Colorado, designing and installing another System Platform system for this location. Yuma had been a CygNet system that performed well, but as Noble grew, the System Platform system, in conjunction with the Insight Communications Engine (ICE) provides them much more capability, and provides them with standardization with the Wattenberg system.
Insight and Texsight Borger, TX Expansion Insight Automation,
Inc. (IAI) with our sister company
Texsight Automation,
has been expanding in our Borger, Texas office, originally opened in January of 2008.
Texsight was formed in late 2008 as a support company to
IAI and
Insight Technical
Services, Inc. (ITSI), providing field level technical support for
ITSI automation hardware, as well as support for other field automation
equipment, and meter calibrations and repairs. We are supported by two technicians, Ronny Rose
and Bob Williams. Ronny is based in
Borger, TX., while Bob is based in Guymon, OK. Wonderware System Platform Trained Insight Automation, Inc has been one of the leading Wonderware development companies since our inception. Our founder Larry Rhodes has been working with the Wonderware suite of products since 1991 and now we have an experienced trained staff behind him. All of our programmers have been trained up to the latest Wonderware System Platform automation software suite of products. IAI is positioned to be able to handle all of your Wonderware based needs, from InTouch, to System Platform, to Industrial SQL (Wonderware Historian). IAI is Oil and Gas specific, we are the most experienced company in this industry providing Wonderware based solutions.
Insight Automation, Inc. in conjunction with Insight Technical Services, Inc. (ITSI) is continuing to develop more products to bring full automation solutions for the Oil and Gas Production Industry. Our latest product is the EPU and GPU Starter-Pack products. The Starter-Pack is an intelligent wellhead controller that is used for wells equipped with beam pumping units. The EPU is the Electric Pumping Unit controller, intended for use on electric powered pumping units. The GPU is the Gas Pumping Unit, intended for use on gas powered pumping units. The EPU and GPU provide a level of intelligence to work stand alone or with leading Pump-Off Controllers, providing further wellhead data, as well as the capability to provide monitoring and control in wellhead to tank battery systems. The GPU takes this a step further allowing full control of a gas powered pumping unit. This now provides intelligent control for gas units, reducing pump runtime and reducing costly repairs. Think of the GPU as the control panel that usually exists with electric units. The GPU provides full automation control capability to start and stop gas pumping units. Call to schedule a demonstration of this exciting new product. Other ITSI Pack Products: Alarm-PACK: Alarm-Pack is an Alarm Monitoring box that can be installed on any facility, from a field office to a wellhead location. Any facility that you need to monitor intrusion, or facility warning alarms, that need to be reported back to a central SCADA system, is what the Alarm-Pack is designed to handle. Battery-PACK: Battery-Pack is a Monitoring and Control box that can be installed on any size Tank Battery facility. It is designed to bring in tank level data, alarms, flows, and other information from the Tank Battery. The Battery-Pack has been designed to interface to production wells that flow the Tank Battery to provide automated control to the wellhead. Designed to meet SPCC requirements, the Battery-Pack can help you keep a 24 hour watch on your Tanks. Compressor-PACK: The COMPRESSOR-Pack is an affordable self contained panel that provides a local Operator Touch Panel, and supports Modbus Protocol for interfacing to your SCADA System. Since the COMPRESSOR-Pack is based on the SCADAPack32 PLC it can also provide gas measurement at the compressor location for fuel gas and delivery flow. Well-PACK: The WELL-Pack is an affordable self contained panel that provides a local Operator Touch Panel, and supports Modbus Protocol for interfacing to your SCADA System. The WELL-Pack is based on the SCADAPack32 PLC and provides custody transfer gas measurement at the wellhead, as well as valve control, separator control and monitoring, and wellhead pump control. All of these PACK
products are designed to Integrate into CygNet and Wonderware based
SCADA systems easily. We have developed the database templates
and GUI screens and can help you bring the information and controls from
these devices into your SCADA System easily and quickly. Visit our
sister company @ www.intechsi.com for
